My residence at Mountainview apartments in Collingwood for 14 months was a great experience The building was well kept with all public areas hallways garbage shoots laundry rooms and storage areas always spotless Additionally the exterior of the building was very presentable it had neat grass trimmed regularly and snow that was shoveled promptly My apartment 2022-10-11T12:32:17Z
My residence at Mountainview apartments in Collingwood for 14 months was a great experience The building was well kept with all public areas hallways garbage shoots laundry rooms and storage areas always spotless Additionally the exterior of the building was very presentable it had neat grass trimmed regularly and snow that was shoveled promptly My apartment itself was also immaculate when I moved in with freshly painted walls and I never had an issue arise during my stay Furthermore the management team were friendly and professional plus they communicated effectively about maintenance activities taking place such as water being shut off or elevators undergoing service I even noticed them walking around to ensure everything stayed clean which really impressed me more ... hide ...

Living here since the beginning of the pandemic has been good locationwise however this area has become rougher due to a lack of police presence and foot traffic The building manager is very nice and responsive yet there are major issues with certain units Hot water does not always reach my end of the building so I often do not have hot water for my dishwash 2022-09-15T00:32:17Z
Living here since the beginning of the pandemic has been good locationwise however this area has become rougher due to a lack of police presence and foot traffic The building manager is very nice and responsive yet there are major issues with certain units Hot water does not always reach my end of the building so I often do not have hot water for my dishwasher shower or laundry For what I pay in rent I expected running warmhot water and there are better options in this area For months now all they say is theyre trying to fix it but nothing has been done since June After looking into the Residential Tenancies Act it was found that my apartment did not meet minimum standards this was acknowledged by multiple levels of GWLs management but as my lease was being broken without any charge Krystal changed to Jacqueline and she kept my damage deposit saying that I had a free month at the start of tenancy although no rental standards were met during that time either Therefore do not rent from this company or building under any circumstances more ... hide ...

Im not keen on writing reviews like this but I wish someone had alerted me prior to signing my lease here Living here is of a low quality and too costly youd be better off in an SRO The building itself is fine and the suites are normal and the residental managers are friendly Id give them high marks if I could Nonetheless the building management doesnt really care about their tenants or their living conditions Since moving in there have been constant renovations taking place for a few months now with no end seemingly in sight Normally that wouldnt be such a problem however they choose to perform some of the loudest works from 8am12pm daily which is just unreasonable My partner is an emergency responder who has started suffering mentally due to being unable to rest after their night shift because of all the drilling noise which even industrial ear protectors cant muffle sufficiently enough for conversation let alone work meetings or simply thoughts Furthermore with everyone stuck at home due to Covid19 its hard enough without this ruckus going on all day long so you can hardly concentrate during webinars or phone calls either Youd expect them to be more sympathetic during these times instead of making life here hellish for us all yet no matter how many requests we make for them to delay works till later hours so people can sleep theres never an agreeable answer given what happened to having peace and quiet If you more ... hide ...
