The apartment is fantastic, plus the resident manager is terrific. It comes with a dishwasher and heating/cooling which is great. Although I'm surprised they don't have Telus fiber connected to their building yet, hopefully they do that soon.
I'm not keen on writing reviews like this, but I wish someone had alerted me prior to signing my lease here. Living here is of a low quality and too costly; you'd be better off in an SRO. The building itself is fine and the suites are normal, and the residental managers are friendly - I'd give them high marks if I could. Nonetheless, the building management doesn't really care about their tenants or their living conditions.
Since moving in, there have been constant renovations taking place for a few months now with no end seemingly in sight. Normally that wouldn't be such a problem; however they choose to perform some of the loudest works from 8am-12pm daily which is just unreasonable. My partner is an emergency responder who has started suffering mentally due to being unable to rest after their night shift because of all the drilling noise which even industrial ear protectors can't muffle sufficiently enough for conversation let alone work meetings or simply thoughts! Furthermore, with everyone stuck at home due to Covid-19 it's hard enough without this ruckus going on all day long so you can hardly concentrate during webinars or phone calls either.
