I havent moved yet but Im not expecting a good experience in this new place Ive ordered a rollpacked mattress and thin long box bed frame from a furniture store to be delivered on my movein date but they don't fit the time slots Anne Landry the property manager insists that I book the movein elevator Its either too early or too late for me Other furniture stores wont deliver on my date either My packages are tiny and wont cause any trouble for other residents if I use the passenger elevator even bikes are smaller than them So why do I have to book an elevator for two or three hours The furniture store cant commit to arrive within that time window either if I choose another day All of this means that there may be no bed or mattress for me in those first few nightsLandry isn't offering any reasonable solutions and doesnt seem to care at all more ... hide ...

I wanted a positive experience renting but there are some things people should know before deciding The building is not well insulated and the heating system is inadequate in winter I had to buy two heaters and in summer I used four to five fans for air circulation Security was a major problem when going down the stairs to the parkade at any time of day I encountered many people taking drugs in the stairwell or parkade My car was broken into causing more than a thousand dollars worth of damage and they wouldnt let me access camera footage unless I filed a police report even though nobody else could access it either Worse yet was moving out the manager made it very difficulthe changed my moveout date three times even though I paid for an entire months rent he didnt notify me about booking an elevator until three times he tried to have showings during my allotted moveout time slot and he attempted an inspection at 11am which would have interfered with my 9301230 window for moving out probably trying to find something wrong with cleaning so as not to return my deposit The unit itself was nice enough but management made it feel like anything but home so I cannot recommend this building at all more ... hide ...
