Former tenants must understand what theyre getting into when renting from this place Roaches two types are everywhere and if you complain theyll just spray instead of fixing the problem If you cant pay the rent theyll increase it to market value instead of sticking to the amount based on your income You wont be allowed to voice complaints at board meetings since those are secret and don't expect any cleanliness either carpets havent been washed in over a decade and walls arent even cleaned for dirt or blood Native housing is supposed to be run by Natives but Dorothy Cook is running it whos known for her racism towards tenants yet can also appear nice sometimes bipolar Petitions have been sent for her termination but she still remains there money meant for community events is pocketed by them though this place claims to be a nonprofit organisation receiving grants from the government with tax exemptions To top it off we had to throw out our expensive furniture due to infestation when we left so living here isn't worth it more ... hide ...

The location of this place is great however it has a negative atmosphere cigarette smoke pervading the walls and carpets unsightly apartments mold and deterioration everywhere The superintendent Mark was also very offputting he had a patronizing disposition and would be gruff when I asked him about repairs LOL obviously were not going to fix your window if y 2022-11-05T01:32:18Z

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom Westfacing apartment for a year and this review will explain why we only gave it two stars The pros no bugs or infestations close to public transit GO bus station Fortinos and McDonalds temperature control of each unit visitor parking available high speed internet Cons extremely noisy due to street sounds from 6am plus noise from neighbors talking outside the window pets and toilets flushing upstairs heater makes loud banging noises all night in winter may not affect all units elevator also makes excessive noise hot inside Westfacing units get direct sunlight with no way to cool down as air conditioners are not allowed in windows Additionally it is expensive for the features offered compared to other rentals of similar sizecost Lastly there is no option to recycle We ultimately moved out due to the unbearable noise levels if youre a light sleeper or value peacequietness then do not rent here more ... hide ...

I definitely do not recommend this building Cockroaches have been an issue on many of the floors Additionally in the last year the building has changed property management several times with Block Management being the worst yet If a tenant attempts to report an issue via rentcafe portal or email they will not receive a response or acknowledgement from management The current property manageradministrative secretary Holly Russell is unreliable and has a bad attitude towards tenants who contact her Furthermore there is only someone in the office two days a week for half of each day The parking garage can be accessed with a remote however people still find ways to break into cars due to how long it stays open multiple incidents have occurred here during my time as tenant Also due to its location and high crime rate it is not in the best neighborhood Lastly onethird to onehalf of washerdryer machines are broken at any given time despite paying 1 600 for 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with no ensuite laundry machines Pet owners clothing may also end up contaminated with pet hair as there is no separation between pet owners and nonpet owners laundry machines As if this isn't enough already thin walls mean you can hear your neighbors from all sides including musicTV from adjacent floors more ... hide ...
