My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom West-facing apartment for a year, and this review will explain why we only gave it two stars. The pros: no bugs or infestations; close to public transit, GO bus station, Fortinos and McDonalds; temperature control of each unit; visitor parking available; high speed internet. Cons: extremely noisy due to street sounds from 6am, plus noise from neighbors talking outside the window, pets and toilets flushing upstairs; heater makes loud banging noises all night in winter (may not affect all units); elevator also makes excessive noise; hot inside (West-facing units get direct sunlight) with no way to cool down as air conditioners are not allowed in windows. Additionally, it is expensive for the features offered compared to other rentals of similar size/cost. Lastly there is no option to recycle. We ultimately moved out due to the unbearable noise levels - if you're a light sleeper or value peace/quietness then do not rent here!
