The apartment has two listings on Google which is odd so heres a brief summary of my previous review The office and maintenance staff are generally polite articulate and friendly however the office hours are short and afterhours support can be difficult to access Before the pandemic requests would be handled in 1014 business days but could take up to a month for completion Currently only emergency requests are being taken care of due to valid reasons The building is often under repair which can be both good or bad amenities that were installed previously must remain closed but rent has not changed except for legally allowed increases The ceilings and floors are quite porous meaning noise is often heard from neighbours such as music or footsteps Most apartments have 4 electrical fuses at maximum so it may be necessary to use the stove for higher amperage appliances like kettles in order to avoid blowing a fuse Appliances installed in the building are older but dependable flooring is clean and usable while balconies usually need painting work done on them but still provide plenty of space Bathrooms may be small yet still useful with low water pressure but hot water is plentiful pipes tend to run brownyellow after repairs even for hours afterward Heating during winter can get too intense since tenants cannot control thermostat depending on outside temperature changes furthermore tech infrastructure offers cableDSL with competitive speeds while fibre was physically installed yet no companies offer it as an option currently living there more ... hide ...

Ive lived at 2861 baycrest for a year and the pool was never opened despite being promised when I moved in it was one of the main reasons I chose this place The toilet didnt work properly in the first week either so thank goodness I still had my other apartment It took many weeks to get it fixed as it kept breaking after a few days The water never got hot un 2022-09-25T06:02:19Z
Ive lived at 2861 baycrest for a year and the pool was never opened despite being promised when I moved in it was one of the main reasons I chose this place The toilet didnt work properly in the first week either so thank goodness I still had my other apartment It took many weeks to get it fixed as it kept breaking after a few days The water never got hot until my last month there and now it doesnt even get cold on the warm setting its too hot to put your hands under The parking is chaotic with people being assigned to my spot because they have no organization thus meaning I have to find somewhere else if the office is closed Garage doors are left open all the time which defeats their purpose for security purposes Furthermore elevators are always malfunctioning and can take up to 10 minutes just to arrive once all three broke down at once Getting hold of the main office is almost impossible as they close during weird hours and don't respond to voicemails even if you do manage to call them they usually cant help with anything In addition using cards to pay for laundry machines often doesnt work as they often break down for days at a time not only that but driers don't function either so you must dry two loads together Washers smell like theyve never been cleaned while bugs scuttle around your clothes Don't be deceived by shiny more ... hide ...
