On our way to the Cabot Trail we stopped at the Mabou River Inn It provided the comforts of a 4star hotel with a homey atmosphere the property was well kept and had plenty of parking plus it was located close to gas stations and groceries Our party of four adults and one child took an apartment which had two bedrooms a kitchen living area with a fan and closet baggage area for coats and shoes entry area with nooks and seating on the front porch The decor resembled that of a boutique hotel as it felt personalized additionally there were lots of outlets to charge devices Breakfast was included in our stay which offered generous portions while pizzas from this place were divine they seemed popular locally due to takeout orders in the evening the owner makes their dough inhouse As we were travelling this inn was perfect for us as it allowed us to do laundry coin laundry as well as rearrange our gear The hospitality from the owners was great they were attentive friendlyinformative while doing their part for preserving their environment We left feeling very rested organized for continuing our journey more ... hide ...
