Living here for the past 7 months has been an experience that Im just renting through Theres always something happening here not in a good way and without any exaggeration Police show up at least seven times in the last few months between 2am3am During the day when staff are moving items or taking out trash its so loud due to echoing off my unit that I cant even keep my balcony door open People honk their cars late at night and play music in the pickup area with no regard for the rules its never peaceful here The elevators were faulty for many months making me worry about being stuck inside one of them When I first moved in neither the heat nor AC was working properly then one night when I was on my laptop a smoke alarm randomly went off but there was no fire or smoke present had to take it down to security as resetting didnt help turns out it was faulty Maintenance had to come multiple times which is ridiculous this could be normal since its new construction but my other condo buildings never gave me such an experience before more ... hide ...

This review is for the property management and a tenant residing in this building I as another tenant at 1284 can tell you that your review is invalid The problems here are mainly caused by tenants like you who think they should be treated with more value than others This was all sparked when Glen created an association due to drama between himself and his neighbors the superintendent wasnt evicted and this led to Carlos quitting from all the emotional stress due to Glen and Johns harassment Its appalling how Anne was spoken to in such an inappropriate manner with her young child present what kind of treatment does she receive at home They complain about marijuana yet not their son who smokes like Cheech Chong not mentioning Johns growup operation visible from Shopper Drug Mart Despite tenants blaming Carlos Jenny they made upgrades including Anne Glens kitchen renovations were denied by thenmanagement Donna so Carlos would hide it behind management while using supplies he had in stock It seems Ted Slightham hired a new lady manager who doesnt know how the building works relying on her husband instead of staff employed by them they need a new owner new management and new tenants All things considered don't move into this building if these aforementioned tenants are still living here as you will become one of their targets emergency situations like fires arent handled properly either more ... hide ...

The minuses outweigh the pluses in this situation as my car was robbed while parked in the underground parking Additionally neighbours smoke marijuana frequently and my Amazon packages are often stolen from the hallways The conditions of the apartments could also be improved though they are suitable for living they havent been renovated recently When it gets extremely cold outside there is a weird humming noise in the building which sounds like gunshot but is supposedly safe according to our landlord To top it off they raised rent by 25 after one year of renting However there are some positives pets are welcome and theres a great view from certain apartments looking onto CN Tower Highway 401 and downtown Toronto Furthermore these apartments stay warm and there is new equipment in the laundry room Taking all this into consideration Id rate it 7 out of 10 overall more ... hide ...

From the time I moved into the building the super told me to be nice to the building manager or else things wouldnt get done for me I remained patient and friendly and everything was going well in the initial few months My requests like minor repairs or roach sprays were granted However after about 78 months everything changed there had been a shift in management The new administration was completely inefficient had no idea what they were doing or seemed not to bother about tenants wellbeing at all Other occupants also shared their annoyance and fury of how their maintenance requests were overlooked particularly for roach sprays For 3 months now I have been asking for a spray in my unit but never got any clear replies from management Eventually after a couple of days they did come but without prior notice which wouldve been considerate so while my pet dog was at home pest control people entered my place and sprayed chemicals which couldve harmed her if she had inhaled it This building has potential yet its being neglected by CAPREIT or other multibillion dollar companies only caring about increasing rent rather than tenants welfare that this experience made me believe so more ... hide ...

If youre seeking a place to live in squalor filth and with rude neighbors this is the apartment for you However if you value yourself and respect your health stay far away from this garbage apartment Ive been living here since June 1st 2018 and can confidently say that it is the most unkempt and unsanitary building I have ever seen in my life To start off with the management they are horrible especially Jimmy the superintendent who is very unaccommodating and rude When I moved in my fridge broke within a week they fixed it but two weeks later all of my groceries meltedwere lost again due to the faulty fridge The technician sent was also inappropriate while inside my unit which I have recorded He even used one of my dish cloths to wipe his feet on then put it back Can you imagine if I had wiped clean dishes with that cloth Gross By the end of all this ordeal I had lost about 300 worth of food When I asked Jane at the office for head office number to discuss compensation she told me they took care of it by calling another technician again which clearly wasnt enoughAnother issue was cigarette smoke coming from neighboring units seeping into mine through a vent in washroom no fan provided by property managers either despite multiple complaints since day 3 living here Even after calling twice for help via after hours line where supervisor lives on site more ... hide ...
