The super-intendent is pleasant, but the property management is a total disaster. It began when we finalized the lease. There were numerous things which were meant to be fixed and we had been promised that they would be taken care of, however some never got done and it took nearly a year for others to get sorted out. For instance, some kitchen cabinet doors were missing when we moved in and after several emails and requests they eventually got replaced - but with different colored ones than the originals! The front foyer closet door also had a hole in it when we moved in but it wasn't swapped out until about 12 months later; this one was unpainted so it didn't match the decor of the apartment either. Absolutely do not believe anything that comes from the property administrator; you should always get everything confirmed on paper! The cockroach issue is terrible as well - despite multiple treatments, they remain everywhere. And there was even a water leak through our window due to roof problems which remained unfixed after multiple requests for help from property management service. So if there's any rain you'll need towels close by to mop up any wet messes! However, if you value yourself and respect your health, stay far away from this garbage apartment! When I moved in my fridge broke within a week; they "fixed" it but two weeks later all of my groceries melted/were lost again due to the faulty fridge. The technician sent was also inappropriate while inside my unit (which I have recorded). He even used one of my dish cloths to wipe his feet on then put it back! Can you imagine if I had wiped clean dishes with that cloth? Gross! By the end of all this ordeal, I had lost about $300 worth of food. When I asked Jane at the office for head office number to discuss compensation she told me they took care of it by calling another technician again which clearly wasn't enough.
