Ive lived here for five years and this place has a special place in my heart with many memories Its petfriendly with a forest full of rivers and trails right in the backyard There can be noise due to students living there however I just left and the condition of the property has been rapidly declining over the last two to twoandahalf years Garbage is always 2022-09-15T10:02:17Z
Ive lived here for five years and this place has a special place in my heart with many memories Its petfriendly with a forest full of rivers and trails right in the backyard There can be noise due to students living there however I just left and the condition of the property has been rapidly declining over the last two to twoandahalf years Garbage is always an issue parking is still a problem nonresidents using the lot and now there are babiestoddlers on site with their young parents There have also been police cars often present and nonstudents seem to be taking up most of the residence they had switched property managers twice in one week This place has become an absolute disaster it was time for me to leave The company appears to be in crisis mode right now My overall experience was great 55 but I must rate safety at 15 for future residents as its not safe anymore you should look into who your roommates are Facebook etc especially if theyre not students as some could be middle aged or older My first three years were spent living beside friends however my final two were less than ideal because of domestic violence from another couple plus nonfatal overdoses onsite people were arrested too while apartment units were trashed so yeah not really safe overall anymore Despite that though my time here was memorable nonetheless more ... hide ...

In the past this place and its personnel were accommodating and respected students privacy Because of this I have recommended it to people I know who wanted to attend UOIT or Durham College The remarks from them about the management were always positive However after renovations at the entrance of the building the atmosphere changed drastically The staff became twofaced and passiveaggressive any help requested was a way for them to exploit money from tenants The parking is managed by another firm that takes advantage of financially precarious pupils They also enter rented rooms without authorization or when occupants are not there disregarding Ontario landlord and tenant regulations using fire safety inspections as an excuse for their actions For example Emily took pictures of possessions then prohibited textbooks or course notes stored in boxes she surveyed personal items in bedrooms to decide what could remain there while forbidding winter clothing during summertime she judged beds based on her preferences and banned any storage containers in bedrooms regardless of how orderly they were kept by tenants needing somewhere to keep expensivesentimental belongings due to living far away from home without expressing empathy Her demands made me think foreign students would be undesirable unless wealthy enough to fulfil her conditionslikesdislikesAs more good students leave because they cant endure such treatment the building has started allowing smokers inside although marijuana is legalised now which results in cigarettemarijuana scent pervading hallways all day long and people who more ... hide ...

I have lived in this building for seven years and it has deteriorated significantly They don't prioritize the current tenants instead focusing on making renovations to vacant apartments to increase rent prices I have gone without two kitchen drawers for two and a half years one of them even had the front fall off recently The kitchen doors don't close properly and paint is peeling and bulging in many rooms Weve also had a major issue with cockroaches In an effort to attract more tenants theyve painted the hallways put down new carpeting and laminate flooring in front of elevatorslobby but still neglect current tenants To top it off theyre attempting to raise rent beyond the usual percentage per year My advice would be not to move into this hole more ... hide ...
