I cannot recommend living at the Liberty Apartments This complex is nothing but problems and construction With many other apartments in the Minneapolis area I suggest you tour and move into one of them instead Where to start The apartment maintenance manager informed me that my window seals are defective causing water to leak in when it rains and humidity levels of 75 Management blames construction companies for this issue but it has been two months since I reported it and nobody has contacted me with updates When I asked to move out due to the hazardous condition caused by leaking windows management said I have to pay two months rent as a penalty for leaving early Its not my fault that the leaking windows are a violation of city codes and maintenance wont fix them promptly plus they advertise amenities before theyre available for resident use then say its because of construction delays see my photosthe dog park is actually a swamp My washerdryer werent even hooked up when I first moved in plus when using my oven smoke filled up my apartment with an electric smell but maintenance said this wasnt considered an emergency request after hours Also make sure you read your lease agreement carefully because they enforce it even if you were told different things during your tour There are definitely better places than Liberty ApartmentsIm a very reasonable person who has lived in many apartments throughout Minneapolis so take my word for it Property management probably will comment on this review so here is what comment more ... hide ...

The maintenance of this apartment complex is the only positive aspect they do fix issues quickly Unfortunately the other amenities are not taken care of well the weight room has not been cleaned in nine months and the exercise machines are very dirty Additionally the bowling alley and game room are open only during office hours but most people work then so its a waste The pool area hardly gets cleaned and it took over a month for them to turn on its heat however now its cold again The entrances get cleaned once a month yet remain filthy with wasps and spiders present When I asked them to spray our unit due to spider infestation even on its third floor they did not do so There is also an apparent pest problem in its heating system that has gone unresolved too Moreover their computers and printers in the office building have been out of ink since I moved in nine months ago As a result there is no pride taken with these additional services that we pay extra for leading me to be frustrated all the time when my lease ends come August I will definitely look elsewhere It appears management used to be better couple years ago but has since gone downhill thus I advise avoiding this apartment at all cost from what other residents say too more ... hide ...
