I was completely unaware of how terrible managing a property would be until I rented one We moved from California and were given an apartment that was substantially outdated compared to what we were informed about When we expressed our disappointment the office lied and said there were no remodeled apartments available only for us to then find out that there was a newly renovated unit across from us After this they asked what they could do to improve it and we requested new appliances all of which were dated They only replaced the dishwasher and told us the washing machines and dryers were sanitized on a regular basis though this turned out to be false as they always malfunctioned with an unpleasant smell The seal on our bay window had broken making it hard for us to see through it when I brought up the issue I was treated as if I didnt know what I was talking about until I insisted that someone come take a look at it Another window in the living room wouldnt close properly so instead of replacing it they just drilled in a screw so we could force it shut The screens didnt even fit correctly leaving gaps for mosquitoes to enter during summertime their solution being duct tape around them Anything broken is swapped with items from empty apartments rather than fixedreplaced properly when opening blinds recently installed pieces became brittle resulting in them breaking off and falling onto my head Moreover our bathtub drains even when plugged due to incorrect installation initially additionally they more ... hide ...

This place is bad news weve been living here for 4 years only to find out 30 days before renewing our lease that they wont be doing so Trying to find another place in this hot rental market isn't easy The apartments are falling apart the bathroom door hasnt even closed in months because the whole doorframe is shifting and the heat is either too hot or too cold with no real thermostat Plus theres carpet on the walls from the 70s which just collects dust everywhere The kitchen drip ceiling fell on my wife over a month and a half ago before Christmas and almost cut her face open when it did People don't clean up after their dogs either I point out all of the dog waste every morning behind my car but nothing changes apart from blanket notes being put through every apartment door In winter snow removal is terrible piles can get up to 15 feet high next to apartments whilst other piles get plowed right outside your apartment doors Inside its not any better I think there may be black mold underneath all of their patch jobs and Ive had constant headaches since being here due to lack of air circulation we have to run fans 247 just to mix upstairs hot air with downstairs cold Condensation freezes on windows regularly and second storey windows freeze shut this could be a fire hazard more ... hide ...
