This is the absolute worst place ever Someone was charging a premium rate for this cottage which is completely unacceptable given the condition of it Even giving one star seems too generous If you are thinking of renting Duffys Tavern 4 please don't It is nowhere near a 5star experience as previously rated let me explain why There was an awful smell of mould and mildew a natural gas leak from the stove falling ceiling tiles with rotten ceilings beneath them all three mattresses were stained and very old possibly with bugs every surface in the cottage was unclean table tops carpets etc someones toothpaste spit on top shelf next to their discarded tooth picks and assorted garbage not ours stuff stuck to coffee table not ours fridge top sticky with someone elses beverage spill again not ours mouse trap above kitchen counter and poop on toilet walls it was too disgusting for us to stay in even for an hour We had to pay 100 cash just so we could leave This place should be condemned at least have a Ministry of Health visit this cottage to verify its conditions I have pictures if anyone would like more proof do not fall into this trap don't waste your money or health here more ... hide ...

At 2295 Pembina Highway the building is terribly managed even by Towers standards and I can vouch for it having lived here while attending U of M over the past five years I highly discourage anyone from considering this place as a rental option In the last 5 months one of two elevators has been outofservice leaving all tenants to share only one lift which leads to long waits due to its 8 storey structure Additionally 7 months ago there was an incident wherein the garbage truck broke down and instead of replacing it Towers ordered us to take out our own trash while still charging for maintenance The chute wasnt cleaned either which resulted in an ant infestation that can be seen in my Keurig machine pictures To make matters worse corridors and laundry rooms are never cleaned properly with multiple burglaries taking place in the car park too Caretakers don't seem keen on resolving these issues either as they keep changing every couple of months and Towers has stopped responding to complaints altogether All things considered this building should be avoided like a plague there are many better options near U of M so do yourself a favor by saving your money and time elsewhere more ... hide ...

This summer Ive been living at 90 Curtis Crescent for 12 years Generally its been pleasant until the last two years when I encountered multiple issues There are many suspicious occupants drug deals happening and even a crack pipe discovered in the laundry room In addition to that three of my packages have gone missing two from the lobby and one right outside my door which was apparently taken by a tenants guest as revealed to me by Homestead Despite having identified the thief via surveillance footage they were unwilling to offer more help or explain what steps theyre taking to fix this problem As a result Im now forced to get mail delivered elsewhere which is unfair The security is also questionable as front and side entrances are often propped open with flyers or rocks allowing unrestricted access into the building However Homestead has handled cockroaches well so far by fumigating my unit and inspecting units regularly luckily there are none in mine anymore On a positive note 90 Curtis is usually quiet in my hallway and staff friendly moreover theyve done great job revamping aesthetics while efficiently fixingreplacing things within reasonable time frame too If these issues arent solved soon though this place wont be able to attract good tenants anymore which would be unfortunate more ... hide ...
