At 2295 Pembina Highway, the building is terribly managed even by Towers' standards and I can vouch for it, having lived here while attending U of M over the past five years. I highly discourage anyone from considering this place as a rental option. In the last 5 months one of two elevators has been out-of-service, leaving all tenants to share only one lift which leads to long waits due to its 8 storey structure. Additionally, 7 months ago there was an incident wherein the garbage truck broke down and instead of replacing it, Towers ordered us to take out our own trash (while still charging for maintenance). The chute wasn't cleaned either which resulted in an ant infestation that can be seen in my Keurig machine pictures. To make matters worse, corridors and laundry rooms are never cleaned properly with multiple burglaries taking place in the car park too. Caretakers don't seem keen on resolving these issues either as they keep changing every couple of months and Towers has stopped responding to complaints altogether. All things considered, this building should be avoided like a plague; there are many better options near U of M so do yourself a favor by saving your money and time elsewhere!

I have been living at 50 Edgewood Estates for about a month now and its no exaggeration to say that Im in luxury units From my unit I get a stunning view which family and friends have dubbed a million dollar view All the rooms have great views throughout the day due to the large windows that let in natural light The layout of my unit is spacious and the kitchen is designed so well that I never feel cramped Additionally theres concrete between each floor so noise from neighbors isn't an issue its like living in complete peace The lobby and hallways are always clean and tidy as is the garbage area My experience with rental office staff has been nothing but positive theyve gone aboveandbeyond to accommodate me and my partner whenever needed Furthermore all of my fellow tenants are kind and neighborly theres also plenty of diversity here too Lastly safety isn't an issue since security keeps watch over the entrance on camera 247 perfect for me as someone with a family In short if youre considering moving into this building then I would highly recommend it based on my personal experience here Attached are some photos taken from different views within my unit since October when I moved in when the weather started changing drastically more ... hide ...
