My partner and I rented a Dawson Properties apartment on Arthur Street for 65 years from early 2014 to late 2020 During our tenancy we had respectful neighbors appreciated the location on a main street had minor repairs done by maintenance and paid an average rent amount The apartment wasnt luxurious but it was suitable for us starting out It was advertised as a seniors apartment building yet the building we lived in is NOT wheelchair accessible although it has an elevator one must go up or down stairs to reach it We frequently ran a dehumidifier during cooler months due to high humidity and MOLD issues in our unit although not severe my relative who lived in the same building for several years experienced more significant mold problems I have rated Dawson Properties low due to recent events their parking lot was never plowed properly causing unsafe icy conditions which I notified them of multiple times with no response other than its just that time of year In summer 2020 various towels went missing from the laundry room 4 full sized bath towels plus hand towels which I reported via email but received no response because of this theft I now have to sit in the laundry room while doing towel loads so nothing else is takensomething that wasnt necessary during my prior 6 years living there These incidents led me to no longer recommend Dawson Properties like before 2019 more ... hide ...

We have been living in this building for three to four years with the only good thing about it being the neighbors Two years ago we asked for holes in our ceiling to be fixed but it still hasnt happened A third of the top of our bathroom door is missing and our bedroom door wont fully close unless something is propping it up There are also cracks all through 2022-09-25T01:32:17Z
We have been living in this building for three to four years with the only good thing about it being the neighbors Two years ago we asked for holes in our ceiling to be fixed but it still hasnt happened A third of the top of our bathroom door is missing and our bedroom door wont fully close unless something is propping it up There are also cracks all through some of the kitchen tiles But what really makes things worse is summertime with just an air conditioner two TVs and a computer running the breaker trips almost every 15 minutes meaning that our apartment gets unbearably hot as one bedroom has its own separate outlet while everything else is on one We cant wait to get out of here and find landlords who actually care about their tenants more ... hide ...
