My husband and I moved in to the apartment six years ago and the service weve received has been extremely poor The previous tenants had not left it in good condition so a lot of repairs were needed However they made a botched job fitting old doors that didnt match together repairing the bathroom door with polyfill and painting over a hole in one of the bedrooms without properly fixing it We were promised new windows for our room but 6 years later still nothing has been done about this Moulds have grown due to water coming through the windows as well as cold air Radiators stopped working until January when someone entered our apartment without authorization and fixed them now even with all thermostats closed its still too hot inside The laminate flooring was cheap so ended up curling from water seepage from the windows too There are loads of exposed electrical wires in basement along with an archaic fuse box which would be a nightmare for electricians or fire fighters to deal with Outside is no better either roads are badly ploweddeglazed while parking lot gets plowed regardless dog owners don't clean up after their pets either We sent photos to manager who promised action on floorwindows but nothing was done were glad to have ended our lease as living here wasnt worth 1 100 per month due to all these unacceptable conditions Don't be like us and make same mistake by just looking at first appearances more ... hide ...

We were pleased to find this accommodation in Advocate Harbor unfortunately we didnt have enough time to take full advantage of it We had come for sea kayaking and arrived late but the manager waited for us before leaving for the night The unit was very comfortable with a great kitchen living room and two bedrooms downstairs The kitchen was wellequipped we could have cooked easily if wed wanted to The living area had a fireplace and comfortable furniture where one could relax in peace Outside was a beautiful beach with lots of driftwood along its shoreline that stretched as far as the eye could see including the fog hovering over the harbor channel There were several notes around outlining rules which seemed unnecessary plus an adequate but small shower This would be an ideal spot to stay longer and explore more of this areap more ... hide ...
