After almost 4 and a half years of living in this building I will be relocating this weekend due to downsizing affordability and work commute reasons My experience here has been much better than when I lived on campus in UBC during my first year of university All tenants are very polite and the building is wellmaintained with attentive management Furthermore 2022-10-10T13:32:17Z
After almost 4 and a half years of living in this building I will be relocating this weekend due to downsizing affordability and work commute reasons My experience here has been much better than when I lived on campus in UBC during my first year of university All tenants are very polite and the building is wellmaintained with attentive management Furthermore the neighbourhood is peaceful and secure Quilchena Park being close by makes it an ideal spot for taking evening strolls or enjoying sunny days Even though moving out saddens me I still want to let prospective tenants know that this building is great choice if theyre looking for a new home more ... hide ...

I recently relocated to Fontainebleau Apartments and was fortunate enough to get the help of the Property Manager Somayeh She was incredibly responsive and made my transition into the building as simple as possible The neighborhood is pleasant and safe while the building itself is wellkept and orderly giving me a real feeling of home

I recently had a negative experience living in an apartment owned by the Georgian House a family business for one year The fridge stopped working and after I informed Serena the building keeper and owners daughter she told me to keep the dial at a lower temperature but it didnt work I emailed her multiple times before she sent a repairman without prior notice and charged me for the bill even then the fridge still wasnt functioning properly She eventually brought in an older smaller refrigerator as a replacement which was not what I had seen when signing my rent agreement however this one worked well enough that I didnt complain Eventually though Serena showed up to take out the small fridge and replace it with the broken one again This meant that I needed to spend most of my time away from home at friends apartments who did have working fridgesSadly things only got worse from there Bruce the landlord demanded access to use my apartment as an ongoing entrance for exterior repair crews and threatened me personally about it he also locked me out of my unit before my rent was over without warning so that I had to stay with friends overnight until police confirmed his actions were unlawful plus he attempted to charge additional fees on final house inspection and there was even a rat infestation To avoid getting into similar situations in future properties make sure you TAKE PLENTY OF PICTURESEVIDENCE of everything more ... hide ...
