I just renewed my lease for another two years, making it three years that I've lived here. Oak Creek is a great place to live if you're on a budget - low rent and all utilities included at a good price. The apartment is spacious, but without amenities like washer/dryer units or microwaves. The building itself is older, but the price reflects this. Roaches are an issue in the south, but I've never had any problems with them in my unit; if it becomes an issue you can call maintenance and they'll spray. Maintenance has always been quick to respond whenever we have had any needs (which isn't often). If you have decent credit and don't mind going up the street for laundry, then I recommend Oak Creek as it's in a safe area with plenty of dining and beer options near Avondale Estates plus being close to MARTA station with security - it's perfect!
