Pros! Super friendly and helpful staff, straightforward application process, pool and gym, community events, Google Fiber access, low cost deposit. Apartments are reasonably priced (mine is $1100), freshly painted with nice lighting and kitchens. Maintenance is quick to respond and valet trash/recycling is convenient. Mostly young people live here so it's not too family-oriented. Cons! No sidewalks so watch your step (some dog owners don't clean up). Tub is painted which isn't ideal; mine had to be redone due to wear & tear - use non-bleach cleaning products for it. Extra charges such as amenities ($10), valet trash ($25), pest control ($5) & water bill from third party Conservice ($20). Plus two other trash fees of around $13 on the bill & a $35 fee for paying rent online with a card - no receipt unless you specifically ask for one. Parking might be limited so you might have to walk further than expected (~$35 car port fee if available). While Austin has become expensive overall, I still think this place offers safety & quietness at a reasonable price.
