We walked into the room to find the kitchen sink gurgling and backing up The advertisement showed a queen size bed yet it was not provided Other guests also confirmed they did not receive one either The deck of the unit had an array of pine needles and weeds scattered all over while the patio chairs were full of ash from someones cigarettes In addition there was an excessive amount of hairs on the back of the toilet counter and in tub that made me doubt its cleanliness though some hairs can be overlooked this was too much to be ignored The tub drained slowly as well which made showering unsafe due to standing water hours after use weve encountered better 2star stays elsewhere more ... hide ...

This past July we booked a stay at Discovery Bay in Kelowna on Sunset Drive through Airbnb Suite 352 in the Central building We received instructions from Cole of Kelowna Vacation Rentals but when we arrived it was a wild goose chase trying to get into our suite With no parking and a stranger having to let us in it took an hour of confusion and frustration before we had access To make matters worse the place didnt have air conditioning like advertised and there was hardly any hot water broken bedroom curtains spider webs inside and a broken outside door were only some of our vacation nightmares Over the 5day period we contacted Cole about the situation with no help for the sweltering heat waking up sweating every morning didnt aid our experience either Afterwards we reached out to Airbnb for reimbursement due to our discomfort with no response so far after two weeks I highly suggest avoiding Discovery Bay Resort as well as dealing with Airbnb or Kelowna Vacation Rentals more ... hide ...
