Living at 261 Platts Lane is great; for a spacious one bedroom apartment, the rent is reasonable and parking is free. The only expense I have to pay for is hydro and unfortunately, WiseMeters Solutions provides it, who have terrible customer service. Besides that one issue though, the place is amazing: my 5th floor view overlooks the train tracks which can be noisy but the double patio doors muffle the sound. Plus, everyday there's cleaning service and maintenance requests are handled quickly. The staff are very helpful too - always providing info on maintenance issues or water shut offs in advance of anything happening.

This is a terrible place to live due to their lack of work over the years and their decision to begin construction in the middle of a global pandemic. The constant banging and drilling is unbearable, especially since we are stuck in lockdown and unable to leave for anything other than groceries or essential items. Visiting friends or family members is out of the question due to Covid-19, so there's no way to escape from it. On top of that, I've been working from home because of the virus and my internet service has gone down for eight hours or more due to all the construction going on. It's astonishing that they'd do this when most people are trying to work remotely yet need an internet connection for it. On multiple occasions, I've had no choice but sit in the parking lot waiting for someone with a spot near my unit so that I could connect my Wi-Fi just so I am able make/receive calls at work without anyone being able hear me clearly. This has caused me several hours worth of lost wages as well as not being able fulfill my duties at work properly. Furthermore,the bug infestation was horrible; you couldn't see any bare space on some floors as it was covered by thousands if not millions of bugs which went untreated until recently.
