At Hoffman Apts, I'm living in a superb, tranquil area that borders Shoemaker Creek and two great natural areas within one block. Shopping and restaurants are close by. The tenant service is remarkable when necessary and the building and grounds are always spotless. The interior of the building has been completely renovated with new balconies, flooring, cabinets, bathrooms, lighting fixtures, cupboards, hardware; plus huge windows including dual sliding doors to the balcony! Right now I'm out here listening to birds chirping and the creek—it's so peaceful! Residents here are friendly and courteous too—which doesn't hurt a thing—and no one paid me to say this (lol).
Living at Centurion has been a nightmare; not only did they enter my apartment without permission, and charge me rent twice without compensating me, but they also failed to provide warm water. Plus, the amount of resident managers that have come and gone (at least 7 in my year here) has made it impossible to get anyone to address these issues. The fact that there is only one washer and dryer for the 15 two-bedroom units in our building is unacceptable when you factor in the $1400 rental fee. Do not sign a lease with Centurion - find somewhere else!
