An oasis of beauty and cleanliness awaits at Accora. From my bay window, I can see a decorated fir tree and the well-kept front and back yards with flower beds around the building. Inside, there is a newness ambiance due to the great staff who keep it spotless all year round - whether it be winter floors or summer glass or even the laundry room. As someone nearing seventy years old, I wouldn't leave this project for any money in the world! My bachelor apartment has plenty of space for my needs, and there is also a community center offering many programs throughout the year as well as a pool. Drive around and take in this oasis - you won't be disappointed!

Living in an Accora-owned home or apartment is the most brutal and expensive experience I've ever had. For this reason, I would give it 0 stars if possible. Here's a list of all the issues that make this situation very unpleasant:
Firstly, there has been nonstop construction noise for more than 5 years because of renovation works. You often find warnings on your door but sometimes you don't even get those and you still hear construction from other floors.
Secondly, my air conditioner has broken 4-5 times this summer alone and each time I put in a work order but they never come to fix it within a day; by the time they eventually come, it somehow fixes itself after 4-5 days without AC in summer heat!
Thirdly, there is no backup generator for elevators.
Fourthly, water has gone out about 10 times since April 2022 and though they warn us before each incident happens, we still end up without water at least once with no clue when it will be back--forcing me to spend one night with my parents!
Finally, rent here is very expensive given all these problems so you'll feel trapped here!
I've been living in an Accora Village townhouse for over five years, and while service requests were once terribly handled (ignored, slow responses, untrained personnel), the situation has improved. I can't comment on the amenities since I don't use them. The Resident Experience Managers lack training and don't know basic by-laws. Parking spaces are often blocked or misused, but security is unwilling to ticket people. Garbage is thrown around bins because tenants can't be bothered to lift lids and put bags inside. Tenant selection isn't ideal either; however, due to legal guidelines it's not something Accora can change. Management's priorities seem off too: despite past complaints about vehicle vandalism no surveillance cameras have been installed due to cost and gun shots have been heard twice with third party security seemingly doing nothing but sitting in their cars rather than investigate.
The biggest issue though is local children making noise; they run around common areas playing soccer and kicking balls into back yards - all against our lease agreement stating tenants must act respectfully towards other residents - yet when security comes out it's already dark so they miss them every time! Letters sent home to parents don’t seem to be helping either; some parents let their kids run wild when there’s a park right across the street! For Accora to take this seriously stronger enforcement needs to happen (such as finding out where the children live then speaking with parents) or eviction may need consideration throughmore ...hide ...
