I was employed through Timbercreek for a temporary position in 2019, and it's unfortunate to hear about the negative claims of their management and upkeep. However, from my experience as maintenance worker I can assure you that these extreme accusations are unjustified. During my time there I saw plenty of examples of tenants disregarding the rules, such as littering cigarette butts and throwing garbage off the balcony. Beer bottles in the parking lot were a common sight each morning, as well as discarded garbage bags when bins were full. Remarkably they still allowed pets in some buildings which is uncommon elsewhere. The regional manager went to great lengths to get stoves and fridges for apartments that needed them; I had even delivered them myself! Furthermore they showed special attention to elderly or disabled tenants by sending me out in harsh weather conditions to shovel around their car so they wouldn't slip. Currently working with another company in this field, I am still presented with similar circumstances - it takes a cooperative effort from both parties (management & tenants) to keep the building clean and safe.
