Living in my unit for 8 years, I have never experienced hot water. Rather, the temperature is either cold or lukewarm. The building's two boilers are running on one, as the other is waiting for parts to be put in place. This wait has been extended. In the kitchen, the water is always extremely frigid; even running both shower and sink hot water taps in the bathroom does not make a difference for more than a brief period of time and its efficiency differs throughout each day. Although there are other problems present, this issue stands out as being most prominent. If you're looking for housing but don't have any other option than living out of your car, this might be suitable--but keep in mind that it will cost you quite a bit of money!

The place seemed fine upon my arrival; there was an active superintendent, repairs were being done and everything appeared normal. However, it's been a year since the building has had anyone maintaining it; for instance, the pool has been closed since April with no explanation from management. All of the other facilities that we're paying for in rent (i.e., tennis court, billiard room, party room, gym) are also closed and unavailable to us. Contrastingly, the nearby Kaneff-owned condo across the street has its tennis court open daily. The management is getting away with this because of a clause in our contract that states they can close any facilities at any time for any reason; this should be a red flag if you're considering renting here - many neighbors have voiced their complaints and are looking to move out soon.
