Greetings everyone, I want to inform you about my experience living at the Riverstone Apts. My girlfriend and I were there for one year between mid 2016 and mid 2017. Initially we were happy with the home although it wasn't updated; we felt that the privacy and comfort of the area made up for any shortcomings. When asked by Deanna, the apartment Manager, to write a positive review I did so without hesitation. However, our opinion changed drastically in early January when my girlfriend called me saying that there was a wet floor in master bedroom closet with black mold (see attached photo). Mushrooms had even grown from under the carpet! We reported this to Deanna who sent her "maintenance guy" over to inspect it. After speaking with my father about his industry experience, I told him no and asked for a third party remediation team since what he described as necessary wouldn't solve anything. After some arguing Deanna agreed to bring in a third party but said we could stay while they got approval from FPI (owners). The next day my father brought in an expert who tested our air quality and found Stachybotrys chartarum and Aspergillus spores present - hence why we refused their offer of staying put!
