My husband and I have resided in this area for nearly a year and we've enjoyed our stay. The common areas are properly maintained, the building is peaceful with no disturbance from other residents – which was an important criterion for us. We had one issue though; our vehicle was vandalized as well as four others due to a break-in. A few of us wrote letters to the management asking them to make the use of fobs mandatory between apartments and parking garages, but they declined citing fire laws – strange considering that condos downtown and other residences use them. Apart from this occurrence, we feel secure here; there are amiable occupants while the apartments include extras such as granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, ceramic tiles and all the amenities one could need or want.

We lived at Old Oak's Mosaik (385 and 365) for four years but recently moved out due to the deteriorating services and customer service. Although the apartments are clean and well-maintained, our experience in the last few months soured our opinion of them. Ben and Julian were great property managers, however since their departure there has been a constant turnover of new managers that we could never reach or get any response from. Even when trying to rent an amenity rental unit before moving out, we received no replies to emails for three weeks. After leaving, we were accused of lying about an outstanding balance even though it had been discussed with the building manager prior to moving out - none of our emails were answered so this was impossible - which was then sent to collections agency after further failed attempts at communication with higher management. Despite this, I would still recommend Mosaik as it is a safe building in a nice neighbourhood with friendly neighbours; if Old Oak improves their customer service *especially* regarding luxury units however, I'd suggest reconsidering your options.
