Since September 2018, my family and I have been living here, and during the transition from old to new management, long-term concerns came up which staff and property managers (AMC) have failed to resolve. The gates stay open all year round leading to trespassing issues, laundry rooms are unreliable and not an amenity they advertise to residents; the money loading system is always malfunctioning while washers and dryers require maintenance for months before breaking down again shortly after. Maintenance can take weeks or longer until repairs are made in units. Unprofessionally hired contractors left the complex in a mess with two blown tires from scattered nails; however, management refuses to take accountability. My husband has been in contact with AMC since I wrote my initial review trying to address these issues; they were receptive and did their best to meet our expectations regarding safety and security. Although I initially recommended Rosemont Park under old management before changing my rating due to new management (AMC) being seen as a 'slumlord', there are some amenities such as contests, a community garden, landscaping maintenance along with neighbor threats of violence as well as tenants having guns without permits.
