The thermostat being down for longer than it was running meant that I had to spend the summer with a friend in Toronto. The apartment managers apparently think I'm willing to pay $2000+ for an AC-less 1 bedroom 1 bath in Kingston, which is just ridiculous as the thermostat is a free service, and they can turn it off whenever they please. In the four months of me living here, there have been three power cuts and two water outages, plus two elevators are not enough for the amount of residents. Furthermore, the access control system and security are weak; every day I come home to find advertisements stuck on my door handle! Additionally, there's low kitchen water pressure and getting hot water is like a game of luck; signing a one-year agreement with Unity Place was definitely one of my worst decisions ever.
