My partner, cats, and I have been living in our current place since October 2021 without any issues that would prevent us from re-signing the lease. We become sad when we consider having to move again (which has already happened 4 times since 2018). The unit was larger than anticipated (after downsizing from 600sq ft in Brooklyn to almost 1k sq ft in Jersey City). It is spotless and the maintenance team are quick to reply within 24 hours via text. As it is a brand new building, some of the amenities we enjoyed during our lux life in Brooklyn are not as advanced. Here are some pros/cons:
Pros - rooftop deck with amazing skyline view/sunset; boxing/yoga gym with mirrors; up-to-date appliances; hardwood floors; sizable walk-in closets and washer/dryer all inside unit; pet friendly atmosphere; 5 minutes from train station (crossing through parking lot); under $60 monthly cost for parking at Liberty Station lot; secure key entry/key pad entry system for building access plus Amazon Locker for packages which can be collected frequently by mail carriers. There is also a guest room available at low cost accessible by residents only as well as a community room with kitchenette, tv, lounge area etcetera
