Poor management in this great place! The supervisors stay all day in the office with their lights off, only coming out for smoking breaks and bathroom runs. Despite the building's potential, it is difficult with this kind of invisible leadership. The building has been painted but it remains dirty and the grounds are neglected. There is garbage everywhere, and of course no visible superintendents. Centurion needs to take action - the latest notice on the bulletin board is from July 2021! To make matters worse they hired a landscaper who "butchered" all of the grass on Sunday; weeds were seen as ornamental plants! Bikes are parked near the entrance every night, and nobody takes care of keeping weeds out of the ornamental gravel. If someone wants to call them they will be harassed by their staff? No thank you - everyone knows how they work which is why many people have left this building. A AAA company was here to clean carpets but they remain dirty; mats are still worn and dogs are urinating in lobbies/elevators yet no action has been taken?! Notices from lobby show July 2021 date so probably nothing new there either...many notices arrive too late (no 24 hour minimum) or nothing happens afterwards like line painting which makes peop more ...

In March 2020, I moved into 286 Kingswood Drive. The one bedroom on the first floor quickly felt too small, so I relocated to a two bedroom on the top floor. I am so happy with my decision! The units are generously-sized and designed well; moreover, the building is always kept clean and tidy. Recently, hallways were repainted and carpets either cleaned or replaced. A cleaner arrives every morning to vacuum each floor, polish chrome and glass surfaces as needed, and mop ceramic floors. An additional bonus is that poop stations with bags for tenants with dogs are available! A landscaping company also maintains the property outside - last week I spotted Zina (the Property Manager) pulling weeds herself! She and her staff are friendly yet efficient; Alexandra (the on-site superintendent) takes care of any tenant issues swiftly while going above and beyond what is expected of her job role. In conclusion: this building is a great place to call home - thank you Zina, Alex, & staff for making it so pleasant!

My wife and I decided to move during the pandemic for our own safety, but found it difficult to find a quality, safe and reasonably priced apartment or condo in either Waterloo or Kitchener. Despite that, the benefits of our current home, Kingswood (specifically the newest building), make up for any cons. You get Fibre Op Internet, in-suite laundry with a spill-resistant finish under the carpeting; a pet-friendly environment with poop bags placed throughout; access to McLennan Park (with an off-leash dog park, toboggan hill and soccer field) just five minutes away on foot; an excellent party room and user friendly gym within the building; plus helpful staff living onsite. The drawbacks? No garbage shoot on floors; visitors parking can be challenging at certain times of year; road noise from Homer Watson highway nearby due to 18 wheelers using air brakes; pet owners not always picking up after their pets or keeping them leashed - all of which are common issues elsewhere too - plus parking can be tight for two cars although staff will work something out. I strongly recommend this place as it is both affordable and has been a calming experience overall.
