This older complex has a great location, but the new owners have been taken aback by the need for repair and maintenance. Quick repairs are done, but those involving pipes take longer. It is best to be prepared with water bottles just in case. Though some may think otherwise, there are alternatives available to fix it permanently that just require some time. The bugs in Texas aren't too bad - it's been over 10 years since I've seen any - unless it's very hot or raining for days on end. The good news is the roaches here are palmetto bugs rather than German roaches which can bring disease and filth into everything; an outside pile of leaves and rotting wood will attract them much more than living cleanly and using hormone based toxins won't make their presence known at all times. In addition to all its trees, this place also has trails, woods, waterfalls, grills scattered throughout with easy access to different parts of town including Austin Community College and The Domain shopping center; you won't find a better deal elsewhere! Management is still learning how to handle things but the layout of apartments is great even if kitchen space isn't so generous.
