In November 2021, we rented in a nice area yet had an awful encounter living at 2501. For example: our first Amazon order was delivered but taken within the building (the staff did nothing and recommended that we take it up with Amazon). The pipes were frequently blocked; they tried to paint over dirt and cracks; and someone from the administration came into our apartment without permission while I was taking a shower. Additionally, I have two pets so when they imposed a date on us with only 18 hours of notice, I emailed them plus went in person to explain that it wouldn't work. If this happens again, I will bring evidence to the police because there is a camera in my apartment. Last but not least, if you want to work remotely, this isn't a good location since there is no electricity almost every week and there are always construction projects going on here.

My lease will expire in 2023, and I am planning to move then. The apartment was not clean as promised; there was a lot of residue from the previous tenant clogging the bathtub drain, and the oven interior had an acrid smell and was covered in stains. As a result, I haven't been able to use it. Furthermore, there is no mail room; packages have been discovered opened in the lobby. There is also no doorman or security guard present, and the pool has been neglected. Despite these issues, there is a decent view of the area. On a positive note though, management responds quickly to requests for help and all of the building staff are very friendly.
