Living in Homestead was, quite possibly, the worst experience I have ever had. Management was nonexistent and I became a victim of a tenant assault after my apartment was broken into. Music with loud bass thumping all day and night is just one of many problems here - cockroaches are rampant while the hallways smell like cat pee. Despite asking for help from management for over a year, nothing was done and they only seemed to care if my rent was late. Such disregard for tenant safety and security has never been witnessed by me before; when trying to discuss problems with on-site staff, they trivialize your concerns and laugh at you instead! To top it all off, this slumlord will ask you for $1250 for a cockroach-laden apartment! Drugs being dealt out front on a daily basis should be enough warning that good, honest people should stay away from this place.
