The apartment building has been around for a while and this could be why upkeep isn't great. After I first moved in, I provided a list of issues such as rusty appliances, uncleaned floors, missing tub stoppers, crooked switches, dirty bathroom walls and moldy corners. Management sent over a handyman to fix some of the problems; however it was clear that the apartment hadn't been properly cleaned upon my arrival. After staying for 9 months I left the place immaculate but was shocked when charged $175 for touch up paint at move out - despite this not being in my contract. The manager then said it was due to furniture touching walls (although there were no pieces of furniture near the walls). My move in and out experiences were poor so two stars from me!
