Living in Oceanside, or any other property owned by Mike Cavanaugh, is a frightening prospect. If you are someone who enjoys being threatened, yelled at, extorted and taken advantage of then this building is the one for you. The owner and property manager are unprofessional and lack basic education when it comes to tenants' rights as laid out in the residential tenancy acts. They will attempt to overcharge you, force repair bills on you without conducting proper inspections or maintaining the building. You can also forget about getting 24 hours notice before they enter your unit - they'll do it whenever they please without your consent. This was undoubtedly my worst rental experience ever; I had to fight tooth and nail just to get back my damage deposit despite being well within my rights according to the residential tenancy act. Mike and Wendy will make sure that this rental experience will be something that you never forget!

We are so glad to call this home! We were concerned about making the transition to a smaller living space, but we've been pleasantly surprised by how well-planned our apartment is; there's lots of storage and closet space. Further, everything in the new building is fresh and updated. Wendy, the building manager, does an excellent job keeping us informed on any issues concerning the facility. Mary keeps it spotless with her constant cleaning presence. Plus, we appreciate that pets are allowed here - Fletcher loves it too! The underground parking is also very practical. We love spending time outdoors looking at all of the boats coming into and leaving from the harbor. All in all, living at Suites of the Atlantic has been a great experience for us!
