Staying at The Elm in Toronto recently won me over to becoming a Sonder fan. (1) The spot was superb - close to the TTC and in a secure, tranquil area with numerous restaurants and coffee shops nearby in Baldwin Village. (2) I had a one-bedroom apartment which was really nicely done up - it featured a plush queen-sized bed, an inviting couch and even a full kitchen bigger than some of the kitchens of my friends who live within the city! (3) I spent a week there, and it cost much less than most of the hotels around as well as AirBnb apartments near by; none of which could provide amenities as good as what I got at The Elm.
