When we initially moved in I highly recommended this rental property to people who asked However if someone asked me now I would suggest they look elsewhere During the walkthrough with my subletter the resident manager was incredibly disrespectful and arrogant I have never experienced such behavior before She demanded that our apartment needed 12 hours of cleaning even though we had tidied it all night long She also said we should use bleach and Fantastic on the grout to make it white instead of using grout cleaner which would have been more appropriate since the sealant had gone off This manager then implied that living at Lux requires one to meet a certain standard a blatant insult Furthermore professional cleaners would charge less for an abandoned suite yet take less time than her suggestion required Other exresidents encountered similar issues with her as well Regarding our damage deposit back I told her wed collect it after 12 hours were deducted from the amount but she sent it somewhere else we didnt leave a forwarding address When contacting corporate about this experience they promised to get back to me but havent done so yet still waiting Before Christie and Angel left the building everything was great its unfortunate how quickly things changed for worse afterwards
