Morguard charges high rent and service charges but provides very poor management and amenities. In the 23-floor building, the laundry room often has a few machines out of order and people take others' clothes without permission. Additionally, there is a limited time frame for operation despite the number of residents in the building; furthermore, elevators are malfunctioning half of the time. Moreover, even renovated units don't have all aspects completed - broken pipelines and holes can be seen everywhere; it is an unsafe environment.

The reviews are accurate in that nothing here is positive. I have resided here for six years and witnessed poor treatment of tenants, garbage and stench everywhere, inconsiderate tenants, litter all around the property, kids running and yelling all day long. The building is falling apart but management just does enough to avoid major catastrophes like the parking garage ceiling caving in. Even when an AC hasn't functioned for more than a month, it's not taken seriously by staff. They are however very prompt to remind residents of their duties. It's mortifying - tenants and management alike make me sick!

I have resided in this building for the last two years and the management has changed. The prior administration was very conscientious but the new one is not. In addition to being discourteous, they are also extremely inadequate. All summer, I had no functioning air conditioning since they did not even attempt to repair it (my AC maintenance order has been in a waiting status for months). My wife and I have two young children, one of which endured heat exhaustion due to our front-facing apartment resembling an oven. Even my message to upper management received no response or action taken on these issues. This 40+ year old structure is plagued by cockroaches regardless of how well we keep our space clean. When reaching out about other maintenance orders it takes weeks just to receive a rude answer telling us not to visit their office.

Management and Maintenance here are terrible; we had scheduled to move in on August 1st but when we went to do an inspection before signing, there were multiple issues--the bathroom sink was in a horrible shape, wall tiles were damaged, light switches weren't functioning properly, the kitchen cabinets were dirty with broken drawers that couldn't be closed or opened. Additionally, the fridge handle was broken and the curtains weren't hung right. And when we spoke to Corrado (the Manager), he gave us wrong keys! He didn't apologize for our inconvenience either; instead he kept insisting that our lease starts on August 1st regardless of us not having keys. It's already August 5th now and they're still saying it's not ready yet. I'd advise everyone to stay away from this place because they only care about money and don't want to invest in cleaning or fixing any of the damage--plus zero customer service or Management skills.
