2023-02-10T08:30:03ZIf you're considering residing at 1444 Rue Mackay, DON'T. The management is awful and package theft goes unresolved; the garbage chute has been shut off for four months! To make matters worse, the water was cut twice with no prior warning. I missed a class and an exam since my shower was interrupted. Needless to say, living here would be incredibly frustrating. Additionally, there's no concierge which makes it dangerous in the evening as homeless people gather around 1436 Rue Mackay and 1444 Rue Mackay. The laundry room is filthy; only two of its five machines function correctly but they often charge for washes without actually operating properly- something that many people have experienced including myself on more than one occasion. When we reported this to the building management they denied responsibility and negligence on their part. Moreover, Ms. Eva Baktis is exceptionally rude; rarely present but always dealing with complaints when she does show up to her office door - which says it all really! Should I go on? There wouldn't be enough space here for me to list all of its issues anyways!
