The location is great, but maintenance is a joke. I went without air conditioning for a month and heat for a few days in the fall; there was even water damage from a leak in the roof which took 5 weeks to fix, though they only painted over it instead of replacing the drywall. Customer service is horrible, no one follows up with maintenance requests. Hallways and elevators are rarely cleaned, burnt out light bulbs take months to be replaced. The underground parking has potential but can be unreliable--at least once per month the garage door stops working correctly. Pot holes (some being over one foot wide) stay unfixed for months and weeds overrun the landscaping due to its poor upkeep. When I first moved in it was dirty (the “cleaning” staff are useless) with moldy air conditioner filters; if an incentive for signing the lease is offered then they will try to rip you off when it's time to renew your contract.

We had a positive first month living at Boardwalk communities, but then we started to notice some issues. Although the apartments were nice aesthetically - large balconies, new appliances, and clean look - they were of low quality. The underground parking was convenient; however, the garage door malfunctioned regularly, leaving us stranded with or without our car for a few hours. Additionally, they never cleaned the outside of our windows during our lease. To top it all off, it was difficult to get in touch with staff who often didn't answer phone calls. Therefore, we would not recommend this place after our experience here.
