This cottage rental wasnt at all what we had anticipated Fifteen years ago my family used to come here every year however it has severely deteriorated since then The first place we stayed was dark and had a great deal of water damage despite this the other cottages were far worse The bathroom ceiling had a hole in it and the toilet was cracked there were cobwebs everywhere and only three forks left for us Plus there were graffiti on the wood panelling from 2002 Kitchen supplies were minimal only two pots one pan and three forks There was no BBQ or outdoor seating apart from the picnic table which seemed to be newish Each cottage did have a fire pit but we needed to ask for wood when required We met other renters who wouldnt stay in their own cottage either since it smelled of smoke and dog ours seemed larger brighter and more liveable so we ended up taking theirs instead Two bedrooms plus the bathroom window only had screens with wooden blocks holding them open furthermore both sliders werent fitted correctly leaving an opening for bugs to get through during nighttime if lights werent kept off as much as possible The grass area facing the lake was completely covered with goose poo making it impossible to walk around without shoes on while stepping down onto the deck posed its own danger due to being made out of 2x4s resembling a skid someone could easily get hurt if not careful enough more ... hide ...
