Candour meets my expectations considering the price. I believe that 5 stars should be reserved for extraordinary goods or services, and if the 2 bedroom at Candour was priced at $1500/month, it would have earned 5 stars. At current prices, you get what you pay for. The positives include beautiful apartments with high ceilings, large kitchen, quartz countertops, great appliances (except dryer), good natural light and kitchen/bathroom lighting; Sky Lounge is great and other amenities are well kept; management listens to issues and attempts to help. Negatives include poor lighting due to fans installed with one dull bulb in bedrooms and living room instead of plugging in a lamp; Electrolux dryer doesn't even have a low heat setting so clothes end up wrinkled; pool area too small considering size of complex so it's often overcrowded on weekends; parking nightmare for some buildings since visitor spots abused by residents who have more cars than allowed; fraudulent ESA letters give some tenants pitbulls that aren't neutered or trained which could lead to attack one day; no dog run as it's too small. Unfortunately these issues will likely stay forever without major construction or more land surrounding complex.
