Living in Hoem is alright however it does not seem to be managed well and feels like it is just a moneymaking venture The apartments are nice with scenic views and are fully furnished so thats nice I lived here for 1 year and 4 months but during this time there were many problems which occurred At the time of signing my 1year lease contract I was unexpectedly moved to a different floor for the last 4 months without an explanation as to why Also while I was moved into a 4 bedroom apartment I was still charged rent for the 3 bedroom apartment I left behind which went against the contract we had signed initially This problem only got resolved after many emails were exchanged between me and management it should have been handled by management instead of leaving it to unqualified students at the front desk who did not take me or my roommate seriously until my mother intervened Moreover without any prior warning from Hoem staff we had a new roommate move into our place in the middle of the night They also failed to provide us with wifi password or roommate agreement paper when we shifted apartments The laundry room was terrible too all washing machines smelt mouldy with dirtmould buildup around rubber parts also clothes werent properly dried in most dryers multiple times leading us to spend more money on rerunning them sometimes machines even stopped midcycle without working At one event organised by Hoem staff no one talked or said hello until I
