We moved into this terrible place last year, not even a star rating. From the very beginning we were killing cockroaches and we told management who sent someone to spray, however it didn't help. We kept complaining to Tricorp Realty but they said it was normal to see cockroaches four or five weeks after the unit had been sprayed so they sprayed again, five times in total! I left my laptop on to check if they were actually spraying and when I checked later on all that had been done was applying a gel. When we asked for a change of unit due to this issue, Tricorp refused saying other units would be too expensive for us. We contacted the City of Ottawa Health Department but even then got the run around as apparently they only attend commercial properties. Despite always paying rent on time, Tricorp dared tell us that we were at fault! In the end we had to move elsewhere and upon entering our new apartment found cockroaches in our furniture meaning much of it had to be thrown away. So if you're considering renting from Tricorp Realty...RUN AWAY FAST! Other tenants have told us there are bed bug issues too - pay extra money for rent somewhere else instead of 272 Bronson Ave., Ottawa Ontario - AKA The Roach Motel!

After that, I returned to take another look and found a live one in the living room near the heating rack. Fast enough to capture it on video, I contacted the superintendent who then witnessed an additional cockroach in the kitchen. Thus, we obviously decided against residing there - complaining to management with our evidence of photos and footage. The management had no rebuttal for our claim.

For anyone considering renting from Tri-Corp Realty, DO NOT. My husband and I signed our lease in 2018 when the apartment was supposedly being renovated, including painting and varnishing the floors. When we first entered to view it, there were bugs in the stove and bathroom. We were told they had just come from outside because the windows had been open during renovations. However, once we moved in there were a minimum of 10 cockroaches daily (attached are two pictures of baby ones). Cleaning up after them became exhausting, yet there seemed to be an endless number no matter how spotless we kept our apartment. Although management showed us a verification document that claimed they had fumigated before us moving in (despite photographic proof otherwise), our friend living in the same building informed us that bedbugs were present too - indicating this wasn't just happening with us but throughout the entire building. After finding out this information, we decided to terminate our lease immediately but struggled to find someone else since we'd been transparent about what happened.
