When I moved in last May, I was expecting a decent apartment. Unfortunately, it came with dirty fans posing a fire hazard, bathroom mirror loose on the wall and the dining room fan was shaking when in use. In addition, the bathroom counter had cigarette marks and baseboards were filthy so it took an hour to scrub each room. The kitchen cabinets had tape on them and then there was an ant infestation even though this was on the 8th floor; this lasted until I left at beginning of this month. The garage door never worked properly for months at a time and water would be shut off regularly. There were no superintendents apart from site managers only available at Wilkins building. They eventually replaced fans but for ceiling fan, I had to buy one myself and get an electrician to install as they refused to do so. Even though layout of apartment was nice but considering price paid, it felt old with damp odour throughout building as well as my own apartment; thus leading me to look elsewhere where superintendent lives in same building with updated cupboards/appliances all while saving over $80 per month! Finally handing my keys today felt like such sweet relief!
