Pros: -The landscaping is beautiful and has been awarded in the past. The community consists of friendly individuals. -Renting here is affordable and the location is unbeatable. Plus, they even decorate for Christmas! There's also a fountain/creek that I enjoy. Cons: -Parking can be hard to come by, especially during peak times like summer near gyro beach. -Some tenants are shady; my car was broken into multiple times including one time by a homeless person who sneaked under the door and other times by people living in the building - this happened often so don't expect yourself to be an exception! -The property manager can be aggressive; I asked him to call a lady who parked too close to me but he got angry and threatened me instead of making that quick call. He eventually called her though and apologized afterwards. -Noise pollution from neighbors flushing toilets, running showers, closing cupboard doors etc., can be heard easily; plus there's an infestation of bees or wasps in my spare bedroom wall which gets quite noisy on hot days in summertime! -Fire alarms go off frequently at 1am (at least one actually being an actual fire) so most tenants don't exit anymore when it goes off out of fear that another may just be false a more ...

Do not move here! The complex is owned by a family and not professionally managed. Despite the fact that vacancy rate in Kelowna is low, making it hard to find another place to live, we would leave in a heartbeat. The only advantage is being close to the lake and having well-manicured gardens due to an elderly gentleman. Amenities such as swimming pool, gym and hot tub have been closed for over a year due to Covid with no refunds given or indication of when they will reopen. There are only one washer and dryer per floor of 16 apartments; they are coin operated and don't always clean properly or dry items completely. Smoking may be banned but there's still an unpleasant smell of cigarettes/marijuana in the common hallway. No overnight parking allowed; if you do your car will be towed at your expense with loud clinking chains waking everyone up in the middle of night. Repairs take months or even years unless it's an emergency like water damage from ceiling leaks. Incompetent & unfriendly office staff ignoring tenants while engaging in personal conversations; Steve (the building manager) has no customer service skills & gets angry when his authority is questioned - actual quotes from tenants included as examples!
