Having dwelled in Vibelofts for a bit more than a year, I have absolutely nothing but praise for the building. It is constantly kept neat and clean. Whenever I need help with something, all I have to do is send an email and I get a response within 24 hours. The amenities here are remarkable as well. The resident managers are outstanding - they answer quickly and are very amiable! All-in-all, my experience at Vibelofts has been thoroughly enjoyable!

My first year here was great, though management seemed a bit aloof. The old resident managers were great, but I don't know who they are anymore. Despite the small size of the suites, I really enjoy the building's style and we pay a lot for them. My main reason for being okay with that was because of things like secure parking and storage spaces, which turned out to be neither secure nor safe. In my 18 months here both our car and storage unit have been broken into - all entrances have pry marks and the parcel boxes have been tampered with so much that it rendered them useless (though management eventually got a more secure set up from Canada Post). We keep getting assurances from management that there will be improved security, but meanwhile parkade doors stay open most of the time. We understand it costs money to increase security but we're losing our own money due to poor security measures from management; whom we trusted to protect our property - something they've not done very well thus far.

The place I lived was so badly managed; they did a fire inspection five times a year and often gave less than 24 hours notice. During the Covid peak, no one wore masks. They can't keep track of my information since they are repeatedly leaving notes under my door to fill out information that is already on my signed lease! Additionally, the common areas are dirty and untidy with trash in stairwells for weeks without being vacuumed. To make matters worse, the building manager uses one of the elevators as her own personal elevator; she locks it overnight and parks it at her floor or car level whenever she's around but if you're using it to move in/out, you have two hours max to use it. The suite was nice but poorly built - walls not painted entirely just drywall colour which disintegrates when wet. I recommend avoiding this place and finding somewhere better to live.
