The Cooperage Apartments have plenty of advantages. The library gives a tranquil spot in an inviting room, and the rooftop lounge is wonderfully designed with lots of seating, a pool table and a terrace for BBQs. Entertaining doesn't require leaving the building, and there's an exercise center with new machines that we plan to use when the weather warms up. The apartments are airy and roomy, and the staff is always on hand to help; they treat tenants well and promptly fix any issues that arise. Plus, it's within walking distance to excellent restaurants, parks, and shops - making it ideally located.

We had been searching the region for a new place to live since we sold our home in May 2017 and eventually decided on the Cooperage at the Barrel Yards in Waterloo. These luxury rental suites, with 1-2 bedrooms plus den and underground parking, offered something for everyone—a theatre room, exercise room, lounge area and library. We were warmly welcomed by Reina and all staff at the Rental Office who patiently showed us various suites until we chose one. Tim and Debbie are the Building Managers here; they work tirelessly from morning till night to keep this complex clean and running smoothly. There are many buildings around to rent in our Region of Waterloo but if you’re looking for a true home away from home, look no further than the Cooperage! This past week we enjoyed movie night, games night & coffee/snacks in their lounge which gave us an opportunity to meet other residents too. Plus with upcoming events such as Oktoberfest & Christmas there's even more fun ahead—Linda & Shane Shaw

The Barrel Yards is a top-notch living facility in the KW area, yet a few issues may affect your stay. To begin with, it takes around 5 minutes to exit the parking lot as there are many blind spots and no way to determine if cars are arriving. Furthermore, the noise levels due to construction can be high and it has been like this for 5 years already; however, this can differ depending on where you reside. Additionally, some interior parts of the apartments may not have good finishing quality. There was even an incident in which I got a noise complaint for my 2 year old who occasionally cries like any other child would. The elevator is also quite small which makes it difficult to move large furniture pieces into your apartment compared to other buildings. Lastly, the AC isn't great during spring and summer months either. Despite all these drawbacks mentioned above, I still highly recommend people moving here since its customer service has been fantastic so far and constantly gets cleaned - making it look spotless all times! Moreover, its proximity to Waterloo Park is perfect and amenities are excellent especially for families with young children whose experience will depend on their neighbours' behaviour too!

I had the pleasure of moving to Barrel Yards in Tri-Cities after looking at more than 20 complexes. Being a picky person, I was well aware of my budget and needs, but began to feel disheartened. Fortunately, the team at the leasing office worked hard to find me an ideal unit and even gave me a chance for a second tour before making my decision. Compared to other places I had seen, Barrel Yards offered superior amenities and competitive prices. Since moving in, their staff has been incredibly helpful with any issues or questions I have come across. The parking garage was initially confusing but after getting used to it it's no different from others. My neighbors are friendly too! Maintenance also provided great help with some minor requests I had; not forgetting that when open (now closed due to restrictions), the amenities were amazing! This beautiful building with its attentive staff is worth every penny; so much so that both me and my mother are considering upgrading/moving into our own spaces here soon! If you're searching for high-end accommodation in Waterloo - Barrel Yards is definitely worth checking out!
