At first, our relationship with the landlord, Linda, was great; however, as we neared the end of our lease all of that changed. We had left a few small items behind but Linda said we left the house in a terrible state when it was actually cleaned. Weeks later we were still waiting for our damage deposit and when we called back to inquire about it Linda told us she had forgotten to mention that she still held onto it. I believe this was an attempt to keep it since I am younger and this was our first rental experience. The apartments weren't even well taken care of; walls were peeling from moisture in the bathrooms, windows would freeze shut during winter months, no air vents or fans in bathroom--every time we'd shower yellow stains would accumulate making it disgusting. I advise against renting through this company as they are slum lords and don't uphold cleanliness standards for their tenants.
